We concluded our exhibition at the Singapore Vet Show 2023 at the Suntec City Convention on 13-14 October 2023.
Our second participation in two years. Just like the previous year it was a success.
Last weekend’s event also coincided with the launching of two new FURMENT Vet Range SKUs.
Some vets from Singapore even commended our Co-founder, Antony Leo, for the traction the company has made with FURMENT in both the vet networks and the retail channels. It’s a compliment we are grateful for.
What makes the brand ticks are a lot of hard work in upholding the quality standard, product efficacy, consistency, services and commitment from all stakeholders and our supply chain, among others.
Delegates from Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, China, and India dropped by our booth to enquire about postbiotics – the next generation microbiome solutions beyond probiotics.
Postbiotics are the latest advancement in microbial science and in the microbiome space. As such, they are relatively nouveau.
Naturally, many delegates were not familiar yet with postbiotics until they came across FURMENT.
Just like the representatives from Mexico who made a 34-hour journey to Singapore to find us and learn about postbiotics. Neither had they come across postbiotics supplements in commercial form anywhere in the world. But now they do, and they had brought back with them complete range of FURMENT samples for further consideration.
Being the pioneer of functional postbiotics in veterinary care and pet care, our mission at Sirius Pet Biologics is simple: to improve clinical success and to transform pet care through the microbiome pathway.
“Microbiome! This is the future of medicine” quipped by a renowned veterinarian in Singapore upon learning more about FURMENT’s offerings.
Indeed, through the multi-clinical data we collated for the past two years, the management of chronic kidney diseases (CKD) through RenaCor (postbiotics supplement targeted at renal health) intervention have shown very significant improvements in renal health from early-stage CKD to advanced stage disease onsets.
CorVet Plus Gel and CorVet Gel have been the go-to when it comes to immunomodulatory effects and anti-inflammatory effects to aid pets in fighting infections caused by parvovirus, panleukopenia, coronavirus and distemper, especially in the region where these virus infections are more prevalent.
Similarly, through postbiotics interventions we have seen positives clinical outcomes in management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
While the general understanding of microbiome is low in veterinary care, those who have come on board with this approach appreciate the improved clinical success that have benefitted their practices and patients.
Though still at its infancy, microbiome therapeutics is already here. At Sirius Pet Biologics, work has started on the 2.0.
